Initial Assessment - 55min
All new clients MUST attend an Initial Assessment session prior to joining our small semi-private classes with your personalised program.
During an initial assessment one of our instructors will take a history, assess your movement patterns and design your personalised programme. It will be based on your injuries, postural needs, fitness/rehab goals, and lifestyle wishes.
You’ll be taught key Pilates foundations of the deep core muscles, holding a neutral spine and breath work. You will be introduced to Reformer, Cadillac/Trapeze table, Wunda Chair, Spine corrector, Ped-O -Pull, Ladder barrel and small equipment.
You will learn how to safely and efficiently operate the Pilates equipment, be familiarised with cleaning protocols and studio procedures.

Private 1:1 and Duo 2:1 - 55min
These sessions are ideal both for new clients who are build up more confidence and technical skills, as well as experienced clients seeking refinement and further challenges with close support and supervision from the instructor.
Also an excellent choice for folks who prefer exercising in private, or in a low sensory stimulation environment.
You can work on specific goals and problems, review and refresh your program for semi-private classes or simply enjoy the quality and attention to detail only a private session can offer. Many of our clients attend private sessions and reap the benefits of deep focus and attention to form.
Our instructors will work with you to tailor your private sessions to meet you where you are at on the day.

Semi-Private 4:1 Classes - 55min
Our Semi-private classes are our most popular option.
Each session runs with four clients, so you enjoy close supervision from your instructor, whilst you work through your own individual program.
You will enjoy making use of the wide variety of equipment available in the studio - and can expect to regularly learn new exercises and get your body moving (or perhaps return to an old favourite that always feels so good!)
You might even find you new muscles that you didn’t know existed!

Pilates Matwork Classes - 55min
A fantastic addition to a regular equipment based class - our weekly matwork classes are run by studio owner and senior instructor Aisling in the studio in the purpose-fitted group exercise room.
You can expect to get a sweat up and feel an excellent burn in your core, glutes, arms and more as you work through classical matwork repertoire with a modern twist.
Making use of small equipment such as dumbbells, therabands and chi balls, these classes are intended to build up strength, balance, flexbility and a good posture. Also an excellent cost-effective Pilates option. -
Yoga Classes - 55min
Our yoga classes are an excellent offering to compliment your Pilates practice. Our small group sessions are instructed by Susan Roper, a deeply experienced teacher from the Mornington Peninsula.
In these sessions you can enjoy moving with a focus on alignment, breath and posture. Susan creates a supportive environment where students can move safely and confidently with a sense of fun and joy, alongside learning about the rich history and philosophy of yoga.
Appropriate for all levels of practice, with adjustments and options offered to suit different abilities made throughout the class.

Yoga + Pilates Fusion Classes - 55min
For those who love yoga AND Pilates - you no longer have to pick - come to our fusion classes!
Instructed by our experienced studio owner - Aisling - you can expect to enjoy a blend of mindful movement, breath control, postural work and the classical Pilates repertoire integrated into a well-rounded class that will leave you feeling refreshed and invigorated. You will feel taller, stronger and more mobile after class.
Appropriate for all levels of experience - adjustments and modifications are offered throughout the sessions.

**All classes run for 55 minutes and MUST be pre-booked. 24hr cancellation policy applies, any cancellations made inside this window will be charged a class attendance/pass deducted from a pre-purchased pack. Thank you for understanding.

Please wear comfortable, flexible and fitted clothing that allows you to move freely, and for your instructor to provide adequate feedback on your exercises, such as activewear.
Grippy socks are required at all times, NO EXCEPTIONS. We sell them at reception if needed.
Please avoid clothing with zips or buckles that can damage the equipment. Long hair should be tied back for safety.

We ask clients to turn phones to silent and leave them aside in the entry area. Shoes go in the shoe rack. Same goes for personal effects not required during the session. Whilst we support healthy social interaction, we ask that clients take care not to distract others when doing exercises - so that safety can be ensured at all times.
All are welcome at Peninsula Pilates. We ask all clients to treat each other with respect and care at all times. The same goes for our staff.
We ask anyone experiencing illness to refrain from attending classes until well again.

We have a strict 24-hour cancellation policy. Any cancellations made within 24hrs or less of an existing booking will be fully charged as if you attended the session.
This is to ensure our instructors are fairly paid for their time, and to ensure optimal class utilisation.
We are a busy studio, and there are often clients on waitlists. Ensuring you cancel early allows others to take your place and enjoy a practice.

For any pass - the activation date is the from the first class you book and attend using that pass.
5 x class packs are valid for 6 months duration from time of activation.
10x and 20x class packs are valid for 12 months duration from the time of activation.

Yes. All classes must be pre-booked and paid for prior to attending. You can do this on the Schedule & Bookings page.

We collect your name, date of birth, contact details and basic health information in order to manage your bookings and in order to safely and responsibly deliver Pilates services to you.
Your contact details are also collected by our booking system Bookings Essential for the administration of your class bookings, payment and scheduling. You can view their policy privacy on their website here.
We will never disclose your personal information to a third party, except when required to by law, and always in accordance with the Australian Privacy Act.
You can access your information at any time and ask to review it with us. Simply contact us to make this request.

We take hygiene and safety very seriously at Peninsula Pilates.
We ask anyone experiencing illness or injury to refrain from attending the studio. We may ask you for clearance by the appropriate health professional. If you’re unsure - speak with your instructor prior to attending ahead of the 24 hour cancellation policy.
All equipment is wiped down with antibacterial cleaning wipes at the end of every class. All clients must help with this and be responsible for their used equipment.
Hand sanitiser is provided around the studio as needed.
Equipment should be dismounted/replaced after each exercise to ensure a safe working space, to avoid clutter and trips risks, and to allow all equipment to be available to use throughout the session. Ask your instructor if you’re not sure where something goes.
Remember we aim to create a safe, inclusive, and hygienic environment for everyone, and we appreciate your contributions towards this!

We ask all new clients to book a 1:1 Initial Assessment prior to booking into group classes. This is to ensure we are aware of your health status, your goals and needs, and can formulate a program that is safe and effective for for you. No exceptions, thank you for understanding.
All attendances must be booked and paid for ahead of time to ensure your place in class.
